Spring will be arriving in 41 days, if you’re counting. After the amazing weather this week, and Punxsutawney Phil predicting an early spring, I decided it was time to put up what I’m thinking about getting for the spring. This year I’m going to be trying a new thing – I’m going to pick 10 items for each season and then update you on when I buy them and how I feel about my purchases.

1. Athleta – Santorini High Neck Mix Stripe | 2. LOFT – Beach Tie Waist Wide Leg Jumpsuit | 3. Piper & Scoot – The Westport Jersey Casual Skirt in Heather Grey | 4. next – Coat | 5. H&M – Pleated Dress |
6. Soludos – Teddy & Gigi Platform Smoking Slipper | 7. Express – Rose Print Button Front Chelsea Popover | 8. Madewell x Biltmore® – Panama Hat |
9. Nordstrom – Halogen – Baylee Platform Slip-On Sneaker |
10. Nordstrom – BP – Misha Mule
I went on and on last summer about how much I love Athleta dresses. This one has stripes! I believe this one will be a great addition to my striped dress collection. Oh yes, it’s becoming quite the collection as well. There’s something just so classy about stripes.
Jumpsuits are high on my list of yeses for the spring. I got one last year from Old Navy that had wide legs and I loved them. I practically lived in it last summer. I like this jumpsuit because it has fun short sleeves. I probably should go with a different color, but they only have black. I’m ok with that.
I’m a sucker for a comfy skirt. If it has pockets like this one I’m all in. The light grey color is nice because it won’t keep the heat in. This would look cute with knee high boots and then sneakers in the summer.
Granted, there’s a brief window of time when you shed the heavy winter puffer for a lighter spring one. This coat fits the bill perfectly. It’s a lighter weight coat, in a cute springy color, and the buttons make it look professional.
I don’t see the animal print trend dying any time soon. This dress from H&M is perfect for now if you add a sweater or turtleneck under the dress. It will also be great to wear in the spring into summer since it’s a tank.
Last year I lived in my “Ciao Bella” Soludos and want a new pair. I think this cute Frenchie pair will do. I mean, how cute are they? Plus, Soludos smoking slippers are perfect to slip on for spring and summer. I usually put some Gekks so the hemp in the shoe doesn’t poke into my foot.
This shirt would be great for going out. I love the sheerness of it, coupled with the romantic red flower pattern. I would put a cami underneath to make it work appropriate.
That’s how I feel about this hat. I saw Meghan Markle has it, it’s affordable, therefore I want it.
I live in sneakers. My sister always gets these awesome heels and flats for me, but truthfully, the ones I like best are my sneaks. That’s why I chose these animal print ones. I like how they’re different and are a platform. Then I get a little height boost like I’d get wearing a pair of heels, but in a more comfy form.
I have a pair of black mules from Steve Madden that I love, only in the summer they get very hot. I like these, from Nordstrom, because they’re white so they’ll reflect the heat, and they are woven so I’d expect a little more air to be able to circulate. Plus, they will look so cool with jeans that are ripped at the hem which is so in right now.
That’s it – these are the items I am going to buy in the next few months. I’m going to try and do this for summer, too. What do you guys think? Is there anything you like in this group? Are you going to buy any of them? Does it make you want to find 10 items of your own and do the same thing? Let me know in the comments below!
My favorite is the pair of shoes with the French bulldog
Mine too! I think those might be my first purchase!
