7 Swimsuits for Your Spring Break Escape

Shopping for swimsuits is right up there with shopping for jeans. Only this one is worse since you’re showing off way more of your body and we all know women are the hardest on ourselves for the way we look. Some women (like me) prefer one piece suits, others live in bikini’s, but no matter your type, I’ve got 7 picks.

If you aren’t lucky enough to have a spring break excursion planned, don’t worry, I don’t either. However, if I did, I’d be going to the Bahamas to swim with the pigs! But I’d make sure I didn’t get bit like that poor model. I would also make sure to bring one of these lovely picks.

1. JCrew – Plunge V-neck one-piece swimsuit in leopard |
2. Shein – Pineapple Print One Piece Swimsuit | 3. H&M – Bikini Top & Bottoms High waist | 4. Everything But Water – Wrap Bralette Bikini Top & Shirred Back Hipster Bikini Bottom | 5. Nordstrom – Solid & Striped Anne Marie Open Back One-Piece Swimsuit | 6. Old Navy – Bralette Swim Top for Women & Low-Rise Hipster Swim Bottoms | 7. Romwe – Two Tone Top With High Leg Bikini Set

On seeing this again, I’m not surprised I chose so many one piece swimsuits since I’m such a fan. The only bad thing about them is going to the bathroom. You have to take the entire thing off and then wiggle into it to get it back on. A bikini is easier to be sure, but not everyone is comfortable in them. I would like a tankini, but I didn’t see any of those that I liked enough to suggest to all of you. I’ll keep my eyes open for some of those and update the blog when we get closer to summer. Now, why did I pick these specific swimsuits? I have very specific reasons…

The JCrew leopard print one piece has the print of 2019. Like most women it’s one of my new favorite prints, so having it in a swimsuit is a win. I like how it’s low cut in the front to give a bit of sexiness to the suit.

This pineapple Shein suit is so playful and fun I had to include it. It looks like something I would wear if I ever visited the Palm Beach Lately “Pineapple Pad.” I can just picture being there in that suit, enjoying a piña colada and getting a fab tan. Of course, it would also be cute on the beach at the Jersey Shore, or the local pool.

The blue H&M bikini screams sophisticated swimsuit. I love the cutouts on the bottoms, along with the fact they’re high waisted. That would feel more comfortable to me as I’m frolicking on the beach. The low cut v on the bikini top creates such a pretty neckline. Any tan in this bikini will look great out of the bikini, too!

Next we have the most pricey of the suits, the Everything But Water bikini. I hate that you’re charged for the top and bottom separately, but what can you do, right? This wrap top is unique, therefore I should have it. The bottoms are the typical bikini bottoms, but not as high cut as they could be. The pink color is so gorgeous for the summer and pop against tan skin.

The two toned striped suit, from Nordstrom, combines two colors I never thought could go together… and I love them. I daresay I’m going to try and wear this combo with regular clothes. The vertical stripes are becoming and more elongating than a horizontal stripe.

The gingham bikini reminds me of Mary Ann from Gilligan’s Island. The yellow color is just happy. I like how the top is a bit reminiscent of a workout top. For the smaller busted gals, this top is fantastic. It helps enhance a little bit more. The bottoms look comfortable and are hipster bikini bottom.

Last up is the sexiest one from my point of view. The white bandeau top will look killer against a nice tan. Straps can be added to the top if you’re so inclined. The bottoms are a nice high cut which makes legs look longer and thinner. I like the contrast between the white and forest green. It’s an unusual combination for a bikini and I’m digging it.

Now, all I have left to do is see if I can squeeze in a spring break trip with one of these babies. I’m guessing probably not, so if you’re lucky enough to go, let me know. If you buy one of these and take it with you, tag me on insta so I can drool over your choice!
