Coral is Pantone’s color of the year for 2019, living coral, to be more accurate.  It’s such a pretty color, I wondered if there was stuff out already that reflected this color.  Of course there is!  I have 10 picks below of coral items ranging from clothing, to a pillow, to lipstick.  I know you’re ready to read on… come along!

This color screams summer to me, yet we’re in winter, so what is a gal supposed to do?  Vacation!  These picks will be great to throw on when you take a Caribbean trip.

Numbers 1 and 10 are perfect for a winter getaway.  The cage heels (1) can dress up any outfit and add a great pop of color.  I could see a black dress with these heels for a swanky dinner.   The slides (10) would be great for hitting the beach.  However, if you don’t have a trip planned, save them for the summer because they’re sure to be popular again.  Now you’re getting them before everyone else and before they sell out… because they probably will.

The clothes choices all can be worn on a winter escape, or even now.  Number 3, the shirt, would be gorgeous with jeans or a pair of black slacks.  In the spring and summer, I’d pair them with white jeans.  The bodycon dress (number 5) can be worn alone as in the picture above, or with a black blazer thrown over it, and black heels.  The last one, number 7, brings mental images of walking on a beach, carrying sandals.  If you’re not lucky enough to do that in January, you can add some booties and a cardigan for a boho vibe.

Bags are a great choice to test out a new color.  If you want to start small, I’d go with the Foldover pouch (8).  That would add great pop of color to a monochrome outfit.  The backpack is a perfect everyday piece.  These Kånken bags are everywhere, but if you get it in this color, you’ll be the most trendy person on your block.  The last of the bags is a pricey one, but I had to include it because it’s so feminine and pretty.  The structured quality will be a perfect addition to a work outfit.

Lastly, is a pillow.  Who’s to say that we only cover clothes and shoes on here?  I love this pillow.  The color is perfect and the palm trees are so fun.  It will brighten up any room.  It also feels a bit like you’re ready for summer with the pillow.  When it’s cold, snowy, and you’re snuggled on the couch with a mug of cocoa, it would be nice to remind you that warmer days are coming.

These are some of the picks that are available right now.  I’m sure there will be so many more in the next months due to Pantone’s choice.  I’m glad they chose such a fun and happy color.  I’m excited to see the other outfits, bags, and home goods in this color.  What about you guys?  What do you think about this color?
