Pajamas are necessary for Christmas morning – who wants to get dressed right away to open presents?  Not this girl.  I’ve gotta admit, I usually wear some old t-shirt with pj bottoms.  Most of the time my pajamas don’t match, but on Christmas Eve/Day I feel like that should stop.  I want to have matching tops and bottoms.  In fact, I’d like my entire family, and sister’s dog, to wear matching pajamas, but since that won’t happen, I’m going to wear my own cute pj outfit.

You might be wondering why there are two Grinch pj outfits… well, I’m obsessed with The Grinch.  It’s my favorite holiday movie, it’s not Christmas until I see the animated classic.  That’s why I have two different versions of a pajama set.

Number 1 is the most normal of all the outfits I’ve picked.  This set is for the person who wants to be put together come Christmas morning and still be in pj’s.  I like how comfy and soft they look, while also having stripes.

Number 2 & 5 are The Grinch ones – ’nuff said above about them.  Just note that these two are tops on my list of what I would actually wear this year.

Do you want to be punny this year?  Then number 3 is your best bet.  It’s funny, but not too risqué for morning.  I also like the red striped pants that go with the top.  They’re very elf-like.

The moosletoe pajamas are for my dad.  This is from a set for families.  One year my dad swore up one side and down the other that he saw a moose in the road near our old house.  Yeah, there was no moose, it was probably just a big deer, but we tease him to this day.  I wanted to get these for the entire family to wear this year to make my dad laugh.  No one was into it with me, so we’re not doing that.

In fact, no one in my family is into matching pj’s for Christmas morning.  If your family is, you’re so lucky, you could totally be matchy matchy in numbers 6, 7, or 8.  I’m always up for a good stripe, as you all know, so I’m rather partial to number 6, the candy cane ones.  Wouldn’t you like to look like a candy cane come Christmas morning?  (Nailed the alliteration there.)

If you’re up for dressing like an animated family, or are just totally into the Incredibles (because who isn’t?), number 7 is for you and your fam.  It could also be used next year for Halloween costumes.  Shop once, wear twice.  Just sayin’.

Last, we have number 8, Santa pajamas, for everyone including the dog.  Of course the dog has to be included.  S/he is part of the family, after all.  These pj’s are so busy, which is something I like.

Whatever pajamas you wear come Christmas morning, just make sure you’re comfy!  I love sitting cross legged, opening presents, and watching the reactions to the ones I’ve given.  After all, it’s not about being all materialistic, it’s about giving.  Gosh, I’ve been watching too many Hallmark movies.  😉
