Might just be me, but I find that men are the hardest to shop for! It seems a lot of places think all men like beer and want everything related to beer. Uh, no. The men I know don’t think about beer 24/7. That’s what makes shopping for them so difficult. Never fear, loyal reader, I have chosen 11 gifts I think would be great to give ranging in price. Read on for more!
1. The Shirt Pocket Video Drone | 2. Build Your Own Marble Coaster | 3. The Smartphone Telephoto Binoculars | 4. F Bomb Paperweight | 5. Set of Two Doughnut Aficionado’s Warming Mugs | 6. Hard Working Man’s Hygiene Kit | 7. The 3D Pancake Printer | 8. The Sidewinding Circular Skates | 9. Personalized Amp Doormat | 10. Scratch Map
All of these items are from Hammacher Schlemmer and Uncommon Goods. Both of these are my go-to for unique items for men and women. Since most women I know are into fashion and beauty, I don’t have to worry about finding something at these stores for them. I’ll have another gift guide for the women coming soon. Keep your eyes open.
For the Techies:
Numbers 1 and 3 use your cell phone. I like the idea of being able to take your drone with you – after all, one never knows when you might need it. Everything is insta-worthy these days, am I right? Number 3 appeals to me because I like the idea of getting a great zoomed shot just by using your cell phone. If you still have enough room for pictures that is! Remember, go for the most gigabytes even if it’s more expensive. It pays off in the long run – believe me!
For A Good Laugh
I had to throw number 4 in because it honestly makes me laugh. A paperweight that’s also a conversation starter. Win for me! And it’s rather cheeky.
For Fun
Number 2, the marble coaster, makes me think of it as Lego’s for adults. You design your own coaster for the marble to go down. Also reminds me a bit of a Rube Goldberg device as well.
Don’t drink and put on number 8! The skates look futuristic and cool. I think they’d be quite a challenge for your regular rollerblader. Are those a thing anymore? I’ve seen people in Central Park skating in them, so I think that’s a yes. I’d love to see someone skating in these.
For the Foodie
Number 7 will bring a smile to any creative foodie. Or a foodie dad. Imagine fixing breakfast for the fam after opening this baby. You could serve Darth Vader shaped pancakes to everyone. Or the Grinch. Your choice!
For the Music Aficionado
Let your love of music be known right at your front door step with number 9. Or remind people of the rocker you used to be. Before kids.
For the Traveler
Show off to your friends where you’ve been with number 10. Plan your next trip by seeing what hasn’t been scratched off yet. And make everyone else jealous. Hopefully no one has to sit through a digital slideshow of your pictures from all the countries you’ve hit.
So that’s it guys. What do you think of this gift guide for the men in your life? Will you be buying any of these? Anything else strike your fancy? Let me know below.
