It’s not too late to order your Halloween decor! Are you feeling sophisticated this year, or fun? I’ve got some ideas on how to decorate your home for Halloween this year. I couldn’t resist to add some fun and spoooooooky food, too. Turns out Williams Sonoma is a treasure trove of fun food.
Sophisticated Halloween Decor
Sometimes you feel like decorating, but you don’t want to go the traditional spooky or fun route. Don’t despair – there are some great ideas to fit this genre.

1. West Elm – Terracotta Skull Candleabra | 2. West Elm – Terracotta Skull Vase | 3. Amazon – Benson Mills Spooky Spirits Web Lace Fabric Halloween Tablecloth | 4. Kirklands – Black Cat Jack-O-Lantern Halloween Candy Jar | 5. Baker Rowe – Victorian English Pottery | 6. Etsy – HasDesignStudio – Halloween Book Stack | 7. Shein – Halloween Spider Web Shaped Table Runner | 8. Grandin Road – Leaf Vine Pumpkins
How are these for sophistication? I have to say, I’m pretty shocked I found these skull plates (Baker Rowe – Victorian English Pottery). Move fast though, there aren’t too many left. However, they do have a bunch of different Halloween inspired designs. I’ve never seen that website before and it’s pretty cool if you’re in the market for new plates.
Fun Halloween Decor

1. Target – Hyde & EEK! Boutique™ – Lit Mummy Pumpkin Halloween Decorative Prop | 2. Target – Hyde & EEK! Boutique™ – Shatterproof Pumpkin Halloween Wreath Orange/Black | 3. Crate & Barrel – Witches’ Brooms, Set of 3 | 4. Kirklands – Hocus Pocus Co. Halloween Accent Pillow | 5. Target – Hyde & EEK! Boutique™ – Animated Doorbell with Eye Halloween Decorative Prop | 6. Pottery Barn – Boo Stoneware Mugs | 7. Spirit Halloween – Just a Bunch of Hocus Pocus Sign Decorations | 8. Amazon – 20 Pieces Halloween
I think the animated eye doorbell (Animated Doorbell with Eye Halloween Decorative Prop) is so fun and might scare the heck out of people who ring your doorbell because who expects that? As you can see, I am a huge fan of Hocus Pocus, which is why I have two items on this fun list that refer to that movie, (numbers 4 & 7). Side note – if you haven’t watched it have you been living under a rock? It’s on Freeform a million times in October. I also like the hanging witches hats with bats you can also hang (8). I’m just a big fan of witches in general – in fact I always wanted to be one.

Food For Halloween
Up last we have fun food for Halloween, all from Williams Sonoma. I did have a few ideas from other places, but they’re already sold out! Note for next year – order early, everyone else is.

Williams Sonoma – 1. We Take the Cake Black Cat Cake | 2. Halloween Candy Caramel Apples | 3. Witch Finger Cookies | 4. Halloween Cake Pops
All these look amazing, don’t they? I can report that the cakes from William Sonoma are ah-maz-ing! My sister got one for my birthday last year and I enjoyed the heck out of it! I’m sure this black cat cake will be the same. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen these caramel apples! They used to be everywhere every Halloween, but then they seemed to go out of fashion, along with popcorn balls. I did find some popcorn balls, but those were sold out. This spread would be incredibly fun for a party. I bet little kids would love the witch finger cookies! Who am I kidding, I love them too. In fact, buying one of these and having your own little celebration might be a fun idea as well.
There you have it, my picks for sophisticated and fun Halloween decor along with some fun food. What do you all think? Have you already decorated for Halloween or do you wait till the last possible minute? If you’re still waiting, get a jump on it before all this is sold out. Let me know what you think!
