Heels always make an outfit seem dressier. They also make your legs look longer, especially if you wear nude heels. This New Year, if you’re going out, make it limo to lounge and wear heels. I’ve got a round up of heels that would look tres gorgeous to wear to ring in 2019.

Splurges
If anytime is the time to splurge on a pair of heels it’s New Year’s eve. Numbers 1 and 4 are great splurges. I love how feminine they are, and the Ted Baker (4) ones have the cutest bow. I would pair number 1 with a slinky number like this one which I like because it’s on the cheap side, but still looks rich. Since you’ll be spending all your moola on the heels, the other part of the outfit can be on the cheaper side – but the dress doesn’t look cheap!
Boots
By now you guys know I’m obsessed with boots, so of course I had to add some boots to this round up. Number 2 add a bit of sparkle to any outfit. I would pair these with a wine colored dress, or a hot pink one. The black heel booties (9) would also look nice with the hot pink dress, or a green jumpsuit.
Sexy
Numbers 3, 5, 7, and 8 all fall into this category. This is a great time to break out these babies. What other occasion can you get away with rocking the sex-ay heels? This is THE holiday for these heels. I would wear any of these with lbd’s, or go all out with this sequin jumpsuit.
Fun
Lastly, we have the fun heels. The ones that are a little different and make a statement. The shape of the heel of number 6 is unique. I haven’t seen many of these. It would also be slightly more comfortable than a stiletto heel. The snake pattern on it also sets it apart. I would pair this with a solid color dress or jumpsuit in black, red, or purple. Number 10 are my favorite. Who doesn’t love polka dots? I sure do – and these have a lower heel. You could definitely dance all night in these as you count down the seconds till midnight. Since the heels are such a statement, I would make sure to make the dress or jumpsuit less “poppy.” Again, a lbd would be a good counter to these heels.
What do you think about this round up? Are there any heels you swear by? Let me know in the comments below.
