Sunday, May 14th is the day we say thank you to our Moms (Moms, grandmothers, mother figures, anyone you feel is worthy) for raising us. I like to think I was a perfect angel growing up and didn’t contribute at all to the scant silver hairs on my mother’s head. I’m pretty sure she has a different take on it, but this is my blog, so we’ll go with perfect angel.
Now what does a perfect angel get her fantastic mother who spent untold hours schlepping her to dance, drill team, ice skating, competitions, you name it? Well, I’m glad you asked! Read along for my ideas for the mother who is hard to shop for.

Tumbler: My mother lives for coffee. Every morning she sits down and has a cup (or three) and calls it her quiet time. How fun would the Ban.do tumbler be for her to put her coffee in?
Travel Organizer: For the Mom who travels a lot, this organizer would sure come in handy. You can put bottles of lotion and makeup in the zipper portion on top. On the bottom, it’s a jewelry case. How cool is that? I love that you only have one pouch to throw in your suitcase.
Journal & Pen: For the Writer Mom. She can collect her thoughts in this cool journal that encourages her at the same time with the “Let’s Do This” phrase embossed on the front. Grab the Kate Spade pen too, to give her a special pen with which to write.
Diptyque Mini-Candles: Nothing says love like a trio of spectacular smelling candles, am I right? Diptyque not only have great scents, they’re also from Paris, they’re also made with a vegetable/paraffin wax mix, with a cotton, lead-free wick.
Cupcake Bouquet: Seriously. Cupcakes that look like a bouquet of flowers? Could that be any cooler? I’ve seen them in person and they look dynamite! Take a peek!
Mother’s Day Card: Go check out Olive and Clyde’s Etsy shop. I’ll wait. I like getting cards for my family that are funny, not sentimental. The stores lately all seem to be filled with sentimental Mother’s Day cards. What’s a funny girl to do? Look on Etsy of course. I came across this store and was so amused by all their cards. I’ll probably go back to them for a Father’s Day card as well!
