Mother’s Day 2020 is going to be a little different this year for all of us. I know these aren’t the best of circumstances to be celebrating, but hey, we can still send gifts! And support businesses at the same time. I’ve rounded up a number of different gifts, so let’s get started.
Isn’t that the sweetest picture? It’s me holding my nephew’s hand when he was about a month old. I love it. It seemed the perfect Mother’s Day pic to post on here, even though I’m not a mother!

This is for the mother who likes to write down what she’s feeling. Actually, we should all probably get one of these and write our feelings down – it’s a strange year. Plus, it is more than just a plain old notebook. You can doodle in it and have it be a planner as well. And you can get it personalized, if you act fast!
I’ve been thinking about flower subscription boxes for a while now. I think it would make the nicest gift for anyone, especially a mom (or mom substitute) who doesn’t always remember to buy them for herself. Plus, it’s hard to get out to buy flowers now, so this would be a welcome surprise!
Do you think your mom might be missing her trips to the nail salon? And she might not be great at painting her own nails? (Darn that right hand for being so hard!) Well these are like getting a designer mani for way less than the price. And you don’t have to worry about getting the polish everywhere. Score!
Yup, this is a weird one to include – it’s a fabric shaver. I didn’t realize how nice they are to have until my sister got one for Christmas and shaved a pair of my favorite pants. They were so pilly in the crotch area. Let me tell you, after she shaved the pills, they were like new! I was astounded. Now that we’ve been living in comfy clothes, I wonder how many of the pants have become all pilly… well, if they have, this baby will come in real handy.
This would also be a great gift for a new mom. It’s a mini dog tag necklace with your kid’s name on it. Super cute and dainty to wear.
I’ve always been obsessed with having a picnic basket. Frankly, I’ve been more into the basket than ever having the picnic (cuz you know, bugs). This one is so cute though – it even has space for wine. This would be a great gift to give to a mother who likes going to Shakespeare in the Park, Ravinia, or those movies at a cemetery.
We must drink water! This Yeti tumbler will help. This is a great gift for mom because it’s also dishwasher safe. It will help remind her to drink more water, and keep it cold. Of course, no one’s gonna know if she’s got wine in there either… wink wink.
For the mom who is a dog lover I give you this adorable china. They look so fun and would be perfect right about now to perk up your dining routine.
I’ve seen people raving lately about the baby foot peel and thought the moisturizing one might be better. I don’t know about you, but for some reason I’ve been noticing my feet are super dry. I’m willing to be your mom’s feet are too. Even if they’re not, a spot of pampering is such a nice gift for Mother’s Day!
Any of these airpod cases would be a great gift for Mother’s Day along with anything else you’re getting her. I love cute cases like these and was surprised how many of them are available on Amazon at a great price.
What do you all think? Are any of these possible gifts for your mom? If you have something you’ve been eyeing for her, let us know in the comments below. The more ideas the better, I say!
