Spring in New York has finally arrived, insert cheers here.  Since we’re all about the spring clothing here, I’ve gathered my top 10 picks for spring.  From dresses to sandals and swimsuits, these picks will get you excited for spring, warm weather, and new goodies!

1. Modcloth – Brunch to Beach Wide-Leg Pants in Yellow | 2. ModCloth – Collectif Comes and Flamingos Tote | 3. Chicwish – Bold Blooms Floral Wrapped Playsuit in Yellow | 4. Express – Low Rise Striped Linen-Blend Shorts | 5. Soludos – Knotted Wedge heels | 6. Target – Strappy Back Tankini Top & Bottoms | 7. The Strand Books – Tote Bag: Red Lipstick Kate Spade | 8. Express – Short Sleeve Pineapple Print Shirt | 9. Zara – Hat With Black Detail |
10. Target – Women’s Mad Love Regina Flip-Flop Sandal

I looked at different stores than my usual for this spring round-up and must say I’m pretty pleased with my choices.  The one that I absolutely love is the bag from The Strand.  For those of you who don’t know, The Strand is a huge independent book store in New York City.  In addition to the stacks of books in their brick and mortar store, they sell accessories online.  I see their bags all around the city.  I even have one I got years ago.  They really hold up and are great to use as a beach bag or even a purse during the hot summer months.

Modcloth also surprised me with the flamingo bag – it’s perfect to take on a spring trip to Paris.  I can just see it with a baguette and flowers sticking out of it while riding a baby blue bike through the spring flowers.  Gosh, that sounds divine doesn’t it?  I should really look up prices…

–Okay, sorry for the distraction!  Back to our mission at hand!–

I have changed my mind about swimsuits.  I was a one-piece die-hard fan.  There’s one glaring problem with a one-piece… when you have to go to the bathroom.  Yup, dragging it all the way off and then wiggling around to get it back up, all while you’re cold from the air conditioning is not a fun time.  That’s why I’ve turned into a tankini fan.  Of course, it’s not yet time to break the out yet, spring has just arrived, but it’s always good to be prepared!  This one from Target, the bottoms are sold separately, and these have slimming inside of them.  I call this a win!

Even though it’s spring and we haven’t gotten the temps in the 80s and 90s, we can start rocking shorts.  These two choices are perfect to get the season started.  A romper is always fun.  They’re so cute and the color is in.  I even like the pattern.  It’s playful but sophisticated at the same time.  As for the other shorts, one can never go wrong with a stripe!  I’d add the hat to the striped shorts because they’re about the same color.  Plus, it will look incredibly cute.

Spring calls for pedicures for our sandals!  The heels are adorable with a bow, espadrille look, and a heel.  I can see wearing these all summer.  The flip-flops look comfy with the soft inside.  They seem like they could hold up for a day of walking around and sightseeing.

What do you guys think?  Are you going to get any?  Let us know in the comments!
