The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is upon us. Okay, so it’s upon us for the people who have a Nordie’s card and can shop early. For all other mortals the sale starts on July 19th, 2019. Honestly, it’s worth it to get the Nordstrom card because a lot of the great stuff sells out super fast. I’ve rounded up 14 different items and I can’t wait to show you all. Let’s jump in, shall we?

Nordstrom Sale

For those longtime readers of the blog, I know you sometimes get overwhelmed by too many choices. That’s one of the big reasons my choices include beauty, shoes, and handbags. One of each, but still the best of the group!

14. Treasure & Bond – Blouson Tank Midi Dress

Number 1 – You all know of my love for Dr Lancer face wash, and if you don’t, check this post out. I bought this right away. There are actually a number of Lancer products on sale. If you’re new to the Lancer products this is a great way to start out. If you’ve been enjoying the products for a while, like me, they have an eight ounce size of the Polish. I love the size of the mineral crystals – they’re not too big and not too small.

Number 2 – I know it’s super hot out and why should I be looking at sweaters already, but this is the best time to get them! This Free People sweater has already sold out in the white! What a bummer, but there are other colors available as of this writing. I also like the red as well as the terrocotta. The neckline is what draws me to this sweater. It will look great in the fall with jeans and knee-high boots.

Number 3 – This shirt feels very high end/designer to me with the pattern. I like the puff sleeve as well as the collar. This would be gorgeous with black slacks or a black pencil skirt.

Number 4 – I chose this because I’ve been pondering the idea of getting a red dress. I don’t have one and think I should. This one would be cute as is, or with a belt around it. I like the flowy aspect of it. I would rock these with knee-high boots or cute snakeskin booties.

Number 5 – I can’t tell a lie – my sister pointed this out to me and I’m glad she did. How cute is this bag? I love the design – it’s a striped leopard print type of bag. How cool is that? It reminds me a bit of a YSL Loulou bag, but with a punk edge and better price!

Number 6 – I’m into boho and midi dresses right now and know they will be big for this fall. Throw a big comfy cardi on top with boots and it’s a comfy yet chic outfit. This one can be dressed down like the scenario above, or dressed up with heels and a cute clutch bag.

Number 7 – I’ve always wanted a Rails shirt. They are the softest shirts I’ve seen in a long time. This is on the way to me as I write this. I hope the shirt fits, we’ll see. I have gotten really into the pattern lately. It is such a great throwback to the 90s when I used to wear flannel all the time. This is one trend I’m glad has come back. These are definitely made to wear with jeans and tucked in with a super cute belt.

Number 8 – Another dress. I’m really into them. Personally, I feel like I look better in a dress than jeans or pants. Plus, I’m into the girly look lately. This one brings in the boho feel again but with fall colors. This wine color is great for fall. It’s another dress where I’d pair it with boots and a cardi.

Number 9 – Guys, I was really looking for great shoes this sale, but honestly, I wasn’t that impressed. These look pretty cool though. And if I didn’t have three pair that already look the same I probably would have gotten them. The thing I like best, in addition to it just being a boot, is that the boot is waterproof! And it comes in wide. I’m not sure this bootie could be any better.

Number 10 – There were a ton of coats in the sale so it was hard to choose just one. This one called to me though. I liked the long coats, but I’m short and sometimes those make me look dumpy. This one looks like it would be so soft and I would probably want to pet it all day. I also like the length on the coat. It’s a perfect one to transition from summer to fall and even to the mild start to winter. (One can hope!) Or, if you live in a mild climate, this could be worn year round.

Number 11 – Polka dots! Yep, you didn’t think I’d pass up a chance to include a shirt with these on them, did you? I like that the buttons on the shirt are hidden. It lends a clean look to the shirt. It also looks similar to the dress worn by Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, therefore I love it.

Number 12 – I’m a huge fan of graphic t-shirts and Paris, French, Parisian sayings… this shirt fits the bill! I envision wearing this with jeans, white sneakers, and a fun blazer.

Number 13 – For those of you who have never tried Zella leggings for working out – you need to buy these STAT! They are the most comfortable workout pants I own. They’re soft, they have a great high waist, and crop. I love crop pants when I work out. I’m not sure why, but it’s a quirk of mine. I’ve been WAITING for these to go on sale! I got them in the blue color for a change of pace.

Number 14 – Another leopard print item. Yup, I’m fully on board with this trend and hope it doesn’t end anytime soon. I love the drawstring waist on this and the pockets. You can’t see them on this picture, but I looked at a few others and it has them. I love a dress with pockets. This one will be perfect with a pull-on black sweater to make it look like a skirt, or a cardigan, with boots.

I hope this helps you guys cull your choices for the sale. Honestly, get the card so you can get in on the sales ASAP. As you can see from my note above, some things have already sold out – and this is only DAY ONE! I’ll have a follow up post when I finally get my items to let you know what I think. If you end up getting any of these, let me know!

  • My favorites are 2 and 4. I love sweaters and the red dress looks fun and soft. I really love clothes that are soft as it feels so nice.

    • Christy, we are the same! I have to have soft things on me. If it’s the least bit scratchy I’m like, no way. Isn’t the red dress so awesome? It’s my fave, too.
