This outfit, with its maroon vibes, is me transitioning from summer to fall.  This Nordstrom Anniversary Sale maroon crepe blouse is by Lush and is drapey and cool for summer, but is also long-sleeved and the maroon color will transition well into fall, especially with a cozy cardigan as the weather turns.

I love pairing a blousy top with casual accessories like my trusty bucket bag and straw hat.  Yet I dressed it up with statement earrings and pointy-toe gray suede mules.  These mules are Ivanka Trump from last season, but I’m sure she’ll come out with something similar for this year, and I’ve linked a ridiculously expensive cool pair below.  The hat is my other nod to summer.  Someone very special gave me this hat so I will wear it summer or fall, or really any time I please.

Now, for going out tonight, I’ll take off the hat and sunnies, tie my hair up in a messy bun, add a darker lip – maybe like this Lise Watier Rouge Fondant Supreme in Michele (oh wait I can’t, I gave it to my sister), and throw on my leather jacket (shown in this post).  Same shoes and earrings, and maybe I’ll change my bag.  Or maybe not.
