I haven’t seen many posts on the Nudestix Magnetic Eye Color Pencils, so I thought I’d create my own. I picked up the Nudestix holiday tin, which comes with three pencils that can be used as eyeliners or eye shadow sticks. The three Nudestix pencils are Night (a matte black), Gilt (champagne), and Twilight (a taupe).

First of all, the tin is very cool. It has a mirror on the underside of the lid, and you can fit a few more pencils in it than just the three it comes with. I have already traveled with it and just keep my eye shadow sticks in it. The set also comes with an extra bit that, to be frank, confused me at first. There are no instructions, so the small black piece that came with the kit befuddled me until I looked online. It was a sharpener! Which is important because these are real pencils, not twist up sticks. So they must be sharpened to continue to get product.
Although I typically prefer the taupe-y Twilight color, I actually think Gilt is my favorite of the bunch. Run along the inner corner and inner third of the lower lash line, Gilt is a beautiful eye-brightener. I like to put Gilt all over the lid, in the inner corner and on the inner lower lash line, Twilight in the outer corner of the eye and along the outer edge of the lower lash line, and Night on the upper water line. There was a small amount of transfer of Night to the lower water line, but not bad at all. Gave it a nice look.
These products wore well on me with a primer underneath (Lorac eyelid primer).
All in all, I’m really enjoying these products. What do you think? Have you used them and, if so, what do you think?
