Polka Dot Paradise: Three Ways To Style

Polka Dot Dress Three Ways

Polka Dots!  As a lover of stripes I never thought I’d get on the polka dot train, but I have.  This dress is the perfect way to ease into the pattern.  On first glance it seems the dress too dressy for everyday wearing, but that’s not true!  Read on to find out how I’ll be styling it three different ways.

The gorgeous dress is from Nordstrom, 1.State to be precise.  It fits true to size.  I have a medium and the length is perfect.  How many times can you say that as a short gal?  The two different sleeves are one of my favorite things about the dress.  I never thought I’d like that, but turns out I love it.  The ruffle sleeve side is flirty while the spaghetti strap keeps the other side up perfectly.   1 State Polka Dot Dress

As you can see from the picture above from Nordstrom, when you pair them with a pump, it’s a very classy look.  Below, I paired the pumps with a jean jacket.  This gives a hint of playfulness and a summer feel.

Since a polka dot dress can look quite feminine, you might feel like toughening it up a bit.  A good chunky bootie and a pink faux leather jacket can create this look.  As you’ll see below, the black buckle bootie is great to break up the sweetness.

Lastly, this could go boho.  I know, I know, just hear me out.  You can throw on the jean jacket again, but this time a quick change to a pair of red boots will change the entire feel of the outfit.

So there you have it!  Three ways to either dress up the polka dots, be casual, or dress down an otherwise dressy dress.  What do you all think?  Is there a look you like the best?  If so, let me know in the comments below.  Can’t wait to hear what you think.
