Product Review: Arianna Ultra Exfoliating Body Treatment

I don’t normally get all wrapped up in skin care.  It’s one of those things I know I should pay more attention to, but then always forget about.  When I was walking in the Village, I spied a table outside a store that looked like it was selling cupcakes.  Upon closer inspection, these were no ordinary cupcakes… they were bath bomb cupcakes!  Like the ones sold at Lush.  The saleswoman at the store, Arianna, convinced me to go in and take a look around the store.  Mistake numero uno!

ariannaOh  yeah, I walked out with a purchase.  I couldn’t help myself!  The saleswoman was a pro.  She had me try the Ultra Exfoliating Body Treatment scrub while I was in there.  She put a small amount on my hands and then had my rub my hands together before I washed them off.  She then followed that up with a small dab of Ultra Rich Mineral Body Butter.  My hands have never felt so soft.  I had to get the body treatment.  I knew I could get the body butter somewhere else, but the scrub was something special.

It’s made from salt from the Dead Sea.  Yeah, that one where everyone’s supposed to be able to float with no trouble.  One of the reasons I was convinced to buy this product was that it’s all natural and paraben free.  When I can, I try to follow the all natural products rule.

I will admit that it’s on the pricier side, but if you can swing it, it’s well worth it.  Since I picked it up, I used it in the shower on my body.  Wow.  I feel like my elbows have become less like chicken skin.  The woman said that you only need to use it once a week and she’s right.  It has surprised me how the softness has stayed with me throughout the week.

I filmed a little video below to demo and show you how it looks when you use it.  I hope you enjoy my first attempt at this!  Let me know what you all think.  Would you buy it or is the cost slightly prohibitive?
