When my sister and I go on our annual February trip, we like to indulge ourselves, like most women who take girlfriend getaways. This trip was no exception. In order to combat the frigid conditions, we decided eye masks were necessary.
Luckily, my sister brought along a multitude of options all from her favorite store, Sephora. She brought these eye masks, which I’ve never tried before. Lately, my under eye area has been very dry, to the point of stinging when I put on my undereye moisturizer and foundation.
My first foray into the eye mask world was with the Rose Eye Mask. This one is in the hot pink packaging. According to the website, the rose eye mask provides deep moisture and brightening properties through natural rose extract. Let me tell you, after the required 15 minute wait time, my under eyes felt moisturized. No longer did it feel tight around my eyes. No longer did I shy away from putting BB cream to cover my unsightly dark circles. Hallelujah. That area feels like it did when I was back in high school.
The great thing about these masks is that there are so many to choose from. As you can see from the first picture, we got a number of them. The ones that seem the most interesting to us are the following:
- Pearl Mask: Provides deep moisture and brightening properties through natural rose extract.
- Green Tea Mask: Mattifies and purifies to soothe skin, absorb sebum, and reduce the appearance of outbreaks.
- Pomegranate Mask: Awakens, energizes, and protects the skin with antioxidant-rich natural pomegranate extract.
- Lotus Mask: Refreshes tired skin and reduces signs of strain and fatigue.
Guess what guys? We have the Lotus Mask to try as well! So stay tuned to the blog for our review of that one.
