New year, getting your workout schedule going, and then you realize, I am wearing the same old sports bras as last year! Heavens to Murgatroyd! I deserve new ones to get me excited about working out again. Guess what, I am right there with you. I just bought myself 2 new sports bras from Victoria’s Secret. I realize not everyone is a huge fan of that store, so I scoured the internet and found my top 10 for this year.

1. Victoria’s Secret – Knockout High Impact Front-Close Sports Bra | 2. SHEFIT – Ultimate Sports Bra for Women, High Impact Sports Bra | 3. Athleta – Warrior Longline Bra D-DD+ | 4. Fabletics – No-Bounce Sports Bra | 5. Nike – Nike Swoosh | 6. Alo – Wild Thing Bra | 7. Nordstrom – Outdoor Voices – SeamlessRib Longline Bra | 8. Nordstrom – Sweaty Betty – Power Frame Sports Bra | 9. Lorna Jane – Flaunt It Rib Sports Bra | 10. Lululemon – Like a Cloud Ribbed Bra Light Support, B/C Cup
For Large Busts
My holy grail sports bra is the Victoria’s Secret Knockout High Impact Front-Close one (1). Why is this my holy grail? I love that it zips up the front to close. I don’t have to mess around, trying to contort myself after a particularly sweaty workout just to get out of the bra. I love that it has underwire cups inside with its own clasp before I even do up the outer bra part. That makes me feel more secure when I’m working out. Also, it helps the girls not jiggle as much when I bounce around. This has been my favorite workout bra for years now. I wait until they have nice sales too!
I’ve been very curious about the SHEFIT ones (2). They are pretty pricey, but they’re also on Amazon so free shipping if you have prime! One thing that I like but am also not quite sure if it is a good thing is that you can adjust the bands to fit your body best. This seems like an awesome idea – however, does it stay? That’s my question. If anyone has tried this, let me know!
Athleta is one of my favorite places to shop for comfy pants, but this bra (3) looks nice. I like that it goes down longer. I usually wear a tank top over my sports bras, but with this one you might not need to. Of course, it all depends on your comfort level.
I’ve never joined Fabletics, but this still looks like a cool one to get (4). The colors speak to me right now. I guess I’m trying to get more color into my life lately – this would be a great way to do it. I also wonder if its claim of – “no bounce” – is true. This is another one that looks to go a little longer on the torso. I haven’t tried out any like that yet, but it’s on my radar.
Regular to Small Busts
I am loathe to call it “regular” in my heading here, but I’m not sure how else to refer to them. LOL. Not large but not small ones and the ones that are on the smaller side… these are for you. To be honest, I’ve always wanted a little less in the chest to be able to wear these fun ones!
This ruched bra from Alo (6) is so pretty. It reminds me of my former life when I was a dancer, it definitely has the dance leotard vibes. Now here’s the difference between the sizes of busts – there’s no way this would hold my girls up while I bounce around, yet for someone with less than I have, who doesn’t have to worry about that, this would be fun to wear to work out!
Number 7 is from Outdoor Voices, which is a new-ish brand to me. I was surprised to see them at Nordstrom. This is adorable though! I would love to be able to wear this – these colors just speak to me. I would have never thought to add the teal to the wine color. Numbers 9 and 10 are also on the skimpier side with regard to material. Number 9 is from an Australian company called Lorna Jane. It’s on the pricy-side, probably the most of any bra here, but I’ve had a pair of leggings from that store and they’ve held up for probably 7 years now. I would think of that one as an investment piece. Number 10 is probably not going to have much hold when you take a look at the straps. I might buy this to lounge around in and be cute. However, for an actual sweaty workout, it’s a no for me.
I think number 8 would work for any size bust. It’s not one of the cheapest but I think it’s one that you can have for a while. I like that it hits longer in the toros. I think this is another one you can get away with wearing without another top because it basically looks like a top. The colors are also fun with the color blocking.
So what do you think? Would you get any of these sports bras? Do you have any that I might have missed? If so, leave the info in the comments so we can all find out.
I really like seeing sports bras for different sizes. The new longer length ones do look very good.
Glad you liked the way I set it up for people of all bust sizes! And yes, don’t they? I’m gonna have to try them out. 🙂
