Tops For Fall To Adore
One of my most favorite things about fall is the reappearance of long sleeved tops for fall. I love finding the perfect one and being able to throw a black biker jacket over it as I head out to start my day. This year I was influenced by the Talbots fall Parisian looks. I’m going to be honest with you guys, I’ve always thought that Talbots was a snooze. My mom would drag me in there to look for things and I’d roll my eyes behind her back as she pushed me into the fitting room to try things on. Things which I hated and never wore. Imagine my surprise when I saw the Talbots catalogue in the mail… Where did this come from? Who cares? I’m so on board! Read on to find out more…
My Aunt and I went to the Talbots Outlet (yes! It exists!) and found some gems. I have a soft spot in my heart for French bulldogs. Okay, so I’m obsessed with Frenchies… as soon as I saw this shirt I knew I had to have it. It’s a Frenchie in a BERET! Come on, does it get any cuter?
In looking at the regular Talbots website, this shirt isn’t available. Too bad for you, I got it. However, there are a number of really great options on the website. Below I’ve noted some options I like – and not just tops.
1. Long-Sleeve Embellished Turtleneck | 2. Lakia Ruffled Ankle-Strap Sandals – Suede | 3. Provence Tweed Jacket | 4. Ryan Embroidered Flats | 5. FrInged “Paris In The Fall” Scarf | 6. Scallop-Collar & Bow Sweater
There is a shirt that looks similar to the one I’m wearing below that I would buy if I didn’t have this one. It’s a classy look that one could wear to work as well as with jeans for the weekend. I’d throw on the embroidered flats on my way to brunch…
See that detail? How cute is that? Don’t you want to go find a Breton shirt, black cigarette pants, and red ballet flats? Or is it just me?
I’m doing that half-tuck above. Y’all know what that is. What do you think – will you be heading to Talbots to check out their newest line? I’d love to know if you do; leave a comment below!
