Is it just me or does it seem like every year it gets more and more difficult to find great gifts for the special people in your life? I have been struggling, so I hope this holiday gift guide helps you all give fun, thoughtful, and great presents this year. Like every year, they range in price – I’ve got the stocking stuffers in there, and the splurges, so come on, let’s get started, shall we? On to the guide…
1. Everlane – The Felted Merino Half-Zip Sweater | 2. Nordstrom Rack – Blondo – Scarlette Waterproof Ankle Boot | 3. Sephora – Sol de Janeiro – Bum Bum Jet Set | 4. Nordstrom – SPANX® – AirEssentials Half Zip Sweatshirt | 5. Alo – CHENILLE HIGH-WAIST WIDE LEG CHALET PANT | 6. Amazon – Stanley Adventure Reusable Vacuum Quencher Tumbler with Straw | 7. Lululemon – Everywhere Belt Bag 1L | 8. JCrew Factory – Velvet knotted peep-toe heels | 9. Madewell – The Cecily Clog in Shearling | 10. Elleme – Baozi Puffy Leather Camel | 11. Etsy – Midnights Mayhem Sweatshirt | 12. Skims – COZY KNIT TANK | 13. Etsy – LoonyPrintz – Harry’s House Pullover Hoodie | 14. Mejuri – Bold Pearl Huggies
Lots to choose from here! From Oprah’s (and Tori’s) favorite things – the Spanx sweatshirt (4). I own it and I can say, it feels like buttah and it’s amazing. Get it for that woman (or person) in your life who loves things that feel nice. The Bum Bum Jet Set (3) always seems to be a crowd pleaser in the winter months when our skin gets dry. The Alo chalet pant (5) is a new addition, but my sister got a pair of pants from Alo and they are the bomb. So I decided to add them to my list here because anyone would love to get a pair. And, how could I forget what has taken Instagram by storm – The S T A N L E Y cup (6). Seriously, it’s like a cult following, I’ve seen posts where the women wait for restocks of certain colors. If Amazon doesn’t have the color you like, go to the actual Stanley store, I guess they have more colors to choose from.
Now, such sad news for the people who didn’t get Taylor Swift tickets, but if you know someone who didn’t, you could help take out the sting of that disappointment with the Midnights Mayhem Sweatshirt from Etsy (11). Or if you’re more of a Harry Styles fan, the Harry’s House pullover (13) is for you (or the teens in your house or that you know). Ooh, number 10 is a definite splurge, but they are having a black Friday sale. I have a bag from them and I am obsessed with it. I bought it in France back in 2020 before everything shut down and I have used it nonstop since then. I also think now could be a good time to ask for a Skims piece (12). I would never buy one for myself, but if someone would give it to me as a holiday gift, that would be cool.
1. Sin – OOD TOOTHBRUSH HOLDER, WHITE | 2. Sin – WYN CANDELABRA, WHITE | 3. Anthropologie – Gilded Rim Coupe | 4. Anthropologie – Fall Boulangerie Jar Candle | 5. Our Place – Home Cook Duo | 6. Hotel Lobby Candle – Chalet | 7. Boll & Branch – Aran Knit Throw Blanket | 8. Uncommon Goods – Couple’s Split Blanket & Sheet Set
Personally, I use an electric toothbrush nowadays, but if I was still using a manual one, I would totally be into this beautiful toothbrush holder. I have never seen one like it, have you? The same store, aptly named Sin, makes this on trend candle holder in white and black (2). These gilded rim couple glasses (3) are a splurge for wine glasses but they’re gorgeous. They bring back the glamour of the 1920s for me. Another huge splurge, but they’re having a big black Friday sale, is the Our Place Duo (5). I have both of these and they are amazing. As their ads say, they are the last pans you will ever need… unless you want to make an omelette, then you need a smaller pan. But if you’re not into that, these are the last pans you’ll ever need!
Now, on to one of my latest obsessions – candles. I don’t know why I’m so into them lately, but I am. I own the Boulangerie Sweet Vanilla Cinnamon scent (4) and it is GOOD. I highly recommend it. If you want to splurge on a candle, I would recommend the Hotel Lobby Candle. I have the cabin scent from last year which is woodsy and reminds me of winter. I quite like it, but a little goes a long way for me. I would get another one, but the cost plus shipping has prevented me from getting more. Hence, why I call it a splurge candle, which is great for a holiday gift!
Another splurge, gosh, all these house ones seem to be splurgy, guess I was in that mood, is the Boll & Branch knit throw blanket. I have one from Christmas years ago and it has held up so well. It makes a fantastic gift. And, lastly, I might save your relationship with this last gift… the Couple’s Split Blanket & Sheet Set from Uncommon Goods. If you have a blanket hog, this might be for you. Uncommon Goods always comes up with the most interesting products and I love looking there for out of the ordinary gifts to give.
1. Williams Sonoma – Peppermint Bark Bites, Set of 4 | 2. ManiMe – Moonchild | 3. NYPL – Library Card Unisex Socks | 4. Amazon – Old Timer 44OT Workmate Traditional Folding Pocket Knife | 5. Target – Old Spice Swagger Holiday Gift Set – Body Wash + Body Spray + Travel Deodorant | 6. Leef – Recover – CBD Roll On | 7. Amazon – LANEIGE – Lip Sleeping Mask | 8. Target – Que Bella Holiday Hot Cocoa Mud Mask
Is it the holiday season if you don’t get peppermint bark? I think not. Williams Sonoma makes the best bark, too in my humble opinion. And these bark bites would be great to shove down in the toe of the stocking. If you know someone who is so over going to to the nail salon, Manime might be a nice surprise in their stocking. They are stick on nails with the cutest choices. Being a bibliophile, I love anything to do with libraries, and these socks (3) are no exception. They’re good for men, women, or non-binary people!
Something that might be good to throw into the stockings is a pocket knife. My brother-in-law got me hooked on CBD cream to recover from workouts and this recovery roll on (6) looks like it would be great to give as a gift to the person in your life who works out frequently. The last ones, (5, 7, 8) are great holiday gifts to pamper your face and body, which needs it during the winter.
1 Walmart – Blackstone Adventure Ready 22″ Propane Griddle Gift Bundle in Black | 2. Saks Fifth Avenue – rag & bone – Retro Runner Sneakers | 3. Old Navy – Dynamic Fleece Hidden-Pocket Cargo Jogger Sweatpants for Men | 4. Rogue Industries – Football Leather Front Pocket Wallet | 5. NYPL – Leather NYPL Catch All | 6. Huckberry – Cool Material – Lock Pick Training Kit | 7. Huckberry – Wellen – Seawool Fisherman Sweater | 8. Uncommon Goods – Murder Mystery Jigsaw Puzzle
Are men the hardest to shop for? Or is it just the men in my life? I thought this propane griddle (1) could be cool for the guy or person in your life who likes to camp. The sneakers (2) are just darn cool, and would look pretty awesome with the Old Navy fleece cargo joggers (3), with the Fisherman’s sweater (7) on the top. Bam, I just created an entire outfit for you to give a guy. Done, move on!
The wallet (4) is pretty cool because it is made from the same leather as footballs, and is curved like that so it can fit in the front pockets of men’s pants. Again, for the book nerd in your life, who might also need some help with organization, this catch all (5)is a huge help. The NYPL print on there makes it very special for that former New York resident, or aficionado.
Lastly, we have the two wacky ideas. The lock pick training kit (6). I just thought this was hilarious. Who knows when you might need this skill? Put in the training and you never know when “M” might call you for a mission. The very last gift idea is the Murder Mystery Jigsaw Puzzle (8) from my favorite place, Uncommon Goods. However, this puzzle is way harder than your average puzzle. There is no ‘key’ for you to look at in order to put it together. You read a story and follow the clues to piece the puzzle together. This is for the hard core mystery buffs. I think I would probably throw it out the window, but I’m sure there are people out there who would be thrilled to receive this as a holiday gift.
Let me know what you all think! Are there any pieces here you’d buy? Do you need help with any others? Drop me a note if you need more help and I’ll be happy to help you out!
