I’m going to be completely honest with you all. I’m not a fan of Valentine’s Day. There. I’ve said it. However, the reason isn’t one you’d think. It’s my birthday! That’s why all the angst about not having a significant other to spend the day with, find the right gift for, and generally become a nutter about doesn’t pertain to me. It’s just always been my day.
I’ll admit it’s hard to see everyone else getting presents on my big day. It’s also hard to have a party on the day of my actual birth because everyone’s always off being all romantic. I usually have a party over the weekend before or after to combat this. It’s not as bad as having a birthday on Christmas, that’s for sure, but it’s not the most fun.
That’s why I’ve decided to post a bunch of items I wouldn’t mind getting if it wasn’t my birthday. See, I’m single and trying to find the right guy for me. If it wasn’t my birthday I wouldn’t be getting presents on the 14th at all. I know I’m not the only one out there. So for us single ladies, I’ve put together a few items I’d buy for myself. Hell, I’d even wrap it and make it look spectacular for me to open on Valentine’s Day. Why not?
