Have you ever opened your closet and uttered, “I have nothing to wear!”? Of course, we all have. Well, in order to combat the wardrobe blues, I searched the interwebs to find something to help me. My sister had done StitchFix, but ended up getting tired of it, so I didn’t want to do that. I found LeTote.
What It Is
This subscription box sends you 3 items of clothing and 2 accessories. They define accessories as jewelry, scarves or a bag. The 3 clothing items range from dresses to shirts, skirts to pants or shorts, and coats. There are no restrictions on the number of times per month you can send back your items and get a new box. There’s no need to launder the clothing before returning, just send them back in the pre-paid envelope they send. How much easier can it be? Since I try to hold out on doing laundry for as long as possible, this is very helpful. It even frees up space in my closet; I get new clothes and don’t have to store them. For a New York apartment with tiny closets, that is another plus.
How It Works
After you’ve subscribed to the box itself, you’ll fill out a survey where you choose the types of clothing you like. Then, they send you an email informing you that your tote is ready to see. You log in to your account and view the tote they chose for you. When you return it, you rate your items, how they fit and how many stars you’d give them. The screen looks like this.
Say you don’t like some of the items they picked for you — not a problem. All you need to do is log into your account and you can choose different items. It’s that easy! Once you’ve made your final decisions on what you’d like, they send out your tote. It takes about two days to arrive in a small box.
As you can see below, the box is small and can be easily placed in a small tote to bring home. I love unwrapping it. The items are wrapped in tissue paper and looks Pinterest worthy.
Peek In A Box
Here is my current box. I’m going to post to Instagram when I wear them, so be sure to follow us there!
