There are so many things I want from Nordstrom’s half-yearly sale, but I’ve narrowed it down to my top 10. I tried to do a mix of everything, including a necklace that’s so pretty. Read on for more!
1. Chelsea28 – Ruffle Sleeve Tee | 2. Topshop – Pink Stripe Wide Leg Crop Jeans | 3. BP – Tiered Faux Wrap Skirt | 4. AG – The Legging Ankle Super Skinny Jeans | 5. Reef – Bliss Flip Flop | 6. Slant Collections – Monstera Print Canvas Tote | 7. Charles Henry – Off the Shoulder Dress |
8. Rebecca Minkoff – Ring Leather Shoulder Bag | 9. Nadri – Citron Crystal Y-Necklace |
10. J.O.A – Chriselle x J.O.A. Wide Leg Jumpsuit
Since it’s summer, I’m trying to brighten up my wardrobe and I think these choices reflect that. I only want one blouse, and that’s mainly because of the back, as you can see above. I love that it has a V in the back along with ruffles on the sleeves. I love wearing a shirt with a V in the back because it’s a bit of a surprise for people, and it’s a little sexy as well. I would wear the shirt with the AG jeans (4) and heels, or even the flip-flops (5) if I was feeling more casual.
I also want a pair of wide leg pants for the summer. There’s something about them that feels fresh and fun for warm weather. I think they’d look great with a block heel, which is another shoe on my want list. For number 2, the pink striped pair, I’d wear a white or black tank, or a nice short-sleeved blouse.
I’d also pair these tops with the jumpsuit (10) because they would look great with that as well. Of course, you don’t need a top under that jumpsuit at all, but if you feel like you do, I’d pair it with one of those. I would also wear the wide legged jumpsuit with a nude espadrille heel.
All Dressed Up
I also want a red skirt (3) sort of like the dress the dancing woman emoji wears. It’s fun, sexy, and perfect for summer and kicking up your heels! I can totally see this with a black or white tank top, or even a striped top. Why not spruce it up a bit?
The dress (7) is a total departure for me and a fun addition to my want list. It’s a fun color, it’s an off the shoulder dress, and it’s also a tight one. In the summer I always wear shorts under my dresses – mainly to stop the chafing. When it’s hot out, my legs rub together and hello friction! I’ve tried that body glide stick that runners use, but you have to re-apply too many times. For a night out I’d want to wear these heels, but for a brunch with the gals, I’d probably wear a cute pair of espadrilles again. They’re my summer go-to. I’d make sure the color is a nude or a white for this dress.
In the summer I like easy breezy bags like number 6. The pattern is so different. It would look great swinging by the pink wide leg pants (2). It also is packable which is great for a trip to Florida, or dare I say, Rome? I don’t have a pattern tote bag with these fun colors, so that’s why it’s on the want list.
I know I’m totally contradicting myself from what I just said above, but number 8 is a great bag to have. This is what I call planning for the next season. It’s on sale, which is huge! I would buy it and keep it till then. Then there’s one last item on my want list that I’d have to buy at full price.
The last item on my want list is a necklace. I’m still working on accessorizing, and doing a fairly decent job when I’m not running late! I like this necklace (9) because it’s long. It would look great with all these picks on the list. It feels like a fun pick for summer, but it could still work into the fall and even winter. It’s one of those “wear with anything” necklaces.
So what do you all think? Is there anything here that you’re going to add to your list? If so, let me know in the comments! I am looking for more fun things to add to my want list!
