What am I obsessing over right now? I’m glad you asked. There are a number of things that run the gamut from clothes to make-up and jewelry, even some home stuff. I know! Who am I? Some are ones that are pretty out of my price range now, but a gal can dream can’t she? I think that’s called Law Of Attraction. I’m putting it out into the universe that I’d like an insanely expensive duvet cover… and I’ll let you guys know when I get it. HA!
Without further ado… here are the things I’m currently obsessing over.
1. Barefoot Dreams – CozyChic® Vertical Stripe Duvet Cover & Shams | 2. Tiffany – T Wire Ring | 3. Naturalizer – Samantha | 4. H&M – Faux Fur Jacket | 5. & 6. Sephora Collection – Long Lasting Kohl Pencil & Colorful Shadow & Liner | 7. Wayfair – Charest Chunky Knitted Acrylic Throw | 8. Zara – Pink Panther® Sweatshirt
1 – This is the duvet cover of my dreams. It’s appropriate that the company is called “barefoot dreams.” I have a fantastic sweater from them that is so soft. Since I loved that so much, I got a robe for Christmas last year from the same company. Everything is soft and cozy. That’s why this duvet cover is one that I’m drooling over. One day duvet cover, one day you will be mine.
2 – Another item that will be on my ‘wish’ list for a while is this Tiffany ring. It’s T for Tiffany, but because my name is Tori, I like to think it’s for me. Tee hee. My sister showed this to me a few days ago and it’s jumped to the top of my list of things I’d like one day. It’s very dainty, which is what I usually look for in my jewelry. I also like that it’s different from most rings I’ve seen. It will also be a piece that lasts for the rest of my life. No way that’s gonna turn my finger green.
3 – Now we’re on to the items I’m actually able to afford that I’m obsessing over. These shoes scream fall to me. I could see pairing them with a great pair of jeans for a hay ride or just some cider. They’re from the Naturalizer which means they’ll actually be comfortable. I could see wearing these all fall.
4 – Remember last year was all about the “teddy” coat? Guess what? It’s back. I like this one due to its price and the color. Who doesn’t love a good pink coat? This would be adorable with a black dress and knee-high or over-the-knee boots and a hat for a date night.
5 & 6 – These two pencils are my new fave things. They’re Sephora brand. I have always been a devotee to Urban Decay eye liner pencils until now. Number 5 is even better than my old standby. It goes on so smoothly, more than the Urban Decay one. It also smudges easier. The other pencil (6) is a shadow and liner. I mostly use it for the shadow part. I love when something is quick and easy. I’m not one of those gals who loves spending time every weekday putting on my makeup. (Beth, I’m looking at you here!) This shadow and liner reminds me of my Kiko Milano Long Lasting eyeshadow, but this one is better because the shadow doesn’t fall out. For some reason the Kiko shadow would always come out of the plastic stick. Talk about annoying!
7 – I love a great throw blanket for cozying up on the couch while I read and watch t.v. I’ve been drawn to these chunky knit ones for a while now. This one from Wayfair is less expensive than the ones I’ve seen before. If you’re really feeling creative, there are patterns online where you can make your own. I’ve thought about doing that, but when you price out the amount of yarn to just buying it ready-made, it’s a no-brainer.
8 – I stopped into Zara over the weekend looking for that great pink dress from the post “Romantic Floral Pieces for a Fall Rendezvous.” Alas, it wasn’t in the store, but I did see all these fun Pink Panther® inspired clothes. This sweatshirt is just so me. The Pink Panther® is peering around the corner, as if waiting for Inspector Clouseau to come around so he can trick him somehow. If you have no clue what I’m talking about, you should check out the original old school movies and the cartoon.
Well, that’s my roundup of what I’m obsessing over now. What do you all think? Is there something that’s caught your eye? Let me know in the comments below!
